Got take-out here. What a delightful local spot for no-fuss great food. Huge pita's with a ton of fixin's. The lady up front was willing to whip our order up on the spot and was very knowledgeable about ingredients (everything is home-made) which helped with our allergy concerns. Would definitely go back again!

I've visited Mt. Desert Island multiple times throughout my life and I always make sure to stop here at least two or three times when I'm on the island. In my opinion it is the best restaurant on the island. The pita sandwiches are filling and delicious. Get all of the veggies on it (as they recommend). Wish I had something like this around town, and I live in DC! I don't know what the others here were talking about--I thought the service was fairly decent. You will have to wait a little bit longer around lunch time, but with a small town and a great restaurant, you should expect this!

Great wine list, and amazing dinner entrée. The scallops are seared so perfectly they melt in your mouth! Highly recommend!

We arrived and stood in line for approximately 10 minutes. One member of our party had to go in to tell the employees there were people outside waiting to be seated. We all ordered soups. Waitress was very slow, unfriendly and unattentive. Ordered dessert and all "signature" blueberry bread puddings were cold. We are from Pennsylvania and although the atmosphere was quaint... restaurant, food and service were less than appealing. Would not recommend.

Service was fair. We weren't in any hurry so it was fine. Chicken pita with creamy Parmesan dressing hot the spot. Homemade chips were delicious! Great place for lunch.
