We celebrated our 24th anniversary at this lovely inn. It's cozy and charming. Our room was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Lovely breakfast served on the porch. Would definitely stay here again.
After more than 30 years of exploring the Maine Coastline and frequenting numerous Inns and Hotels.....I have to say that The Harbour Cottage Inn is second to none in its gracious hospitality , charm and peacefulness.. My corner room "The Dory" was immaculate..... more than comfortable with all the amenities one could hope for and a most comfortable King bed ! Don, the owner, was an awesome host. Very attentive and helpful in recommending dinning and local sites to see. This was my first experience at this Inn.....it most assuredly will not be the last. The Best B&B in my experience !

We had a wonderful experience, our room was excellent, clean and bright. The breakfast was amazing. Don and Javier couldn't be any kinder or more helpful. We even left something and they are mailing it back to us.
The hosts have thought of everything! The beautiful, distinct decor of our bed room, the antique-filled living and dining rooms created an atmosphere of intimacy and relaxation. The full all homemade from scratch breakfast menu changed daily (crepes, baked eggs, sauces, fresh fruit, scones..)offering innovative cuisine to accommodate dietary needs and individual tastes. The owners provided maps, reading material to accompany our hiking and sightseeing preferences. We want to return to Acadia!
Great location on the island. Close enough to the Acadia park but just far enough to be really peaceful and quiet away from the traffic of the island. Dinner/lunch options are just a short walk away. The house was decorated, clean, and kept up really well. The staff was kind and very attentive. The breakfast was awesome and varied every day. We will stay here again!
