A wonderful place to visit if you are on Mount Desert ISLAND! The laundromat was recently renovated and offers drop off service at affordable rates. If you choose to wash your own clothes, there is an attached bar that offers PPV Sports, wings, domestic and import beer, wine and the best cocktails the island has to offer!!!
Very modern facility
Good laundromat. They have a change machine and laundry detergent, softener vending machine thing. It's $3 for each wash and $2-3 for a drying. Was able to be out in an hour.
Well, it's a laundromat attached to a bar. Or a bar attached to a laundromat? Anyway, the machines worked fine, and weren't too expensive. We took them back to our campsite in Seawall on the bus in garbage bags. That was interesting. Also interesting was trying to find a public restroom in Southwest Harbor. There just isn't one. I peeked in the bar side of this place - "Joey's Bar" - I felt like everyone turned their head at the stranger when I opened the door. I asked if there was a restroom... denied. Told to walk down the street. Lame, Joey, lame. (As for the bathroom, I just got some more coffee at Sips and used theirs. A+)
