Southwest food market is the best source of general groceries on the west side of the island. Prices are okay and quality is typical supermarket. Good not to need to drive all the way to bar harbor or ellsworth!
Hey, it's an IGA! I used to work at a grocery store just like this! It's cool. I dig it. The lines can be a bit long for limited cashiers, so don't expect grab n' go necessarily. Lots on offer here though. (This is probably a fluke, but there were some REALLY annoying charity solicitors out front who heckled my friends for money, so that kind of made us not want to go back. But I would.)
