Great service and bikes!
I was having an issue with my derailleur while visiting MDI for some cycling. I walked into this great bike shop and explained my problem. The shop owner had my bike on the stand in a minuted and got right to work on it. He was as nice as could be and was a lot of fun to chat with, in addition to being a really good wrench. Solved my problem and got me on my way. I bought a couple of the shop's logo water bottles as a reminder of such a great experience in a local bike shop.

Wanted to make a quick bike tour of Swans Island, but was running very late. I came into the shop with not even half an hour left. They equipped me with a great bike and helmet in like 5 minutes so I still catched the ferry biking from south west harbor to bass harbor!
These folks are top-notch. Gear-heady enough for the enthusiast, but kind and helpful enough for the occasional cyclist. Loved the friendly and comprehensive service. And, what a GREAT way to see Acadia National Park. Thank you, Southwest Cycle.
